The facilitators at SYAM work with people
who have difficulty dealing with certain aspects of their behaviour that invariably end up as expressions of anger. We explore
issues with defensiveness, conflict, cognitive dissonance, listening and communication skills. We
help clients to identify what they think and feel is the right option for them. We work with solution focussed and cognitive
behavioural therapy. We help clients to focus on the future without anger, because they say that’s what they want. We offer an assessment service for clients
and will provide therapy reports to employers and courts when requested.
Anger
Management Counselling on the Telephone.
Telephone therapy offers
the anonymity that some people may feel more comfortable with especially when discussing sensitive issues.
Telephone counselling also offers a more flexible and convenient
approach and impacts less on time.
Telephone
counselling sessions are held just like face-to-face appointments on a regular appointment basis. The difference is that they
are conducted over the telephone.
If you have access to email, information will be sent prior to the session,
we will then work through modules together.
Confidentiality is maintained as it would be if the sessions were face
to face.
Appointments are available
during weekdays evenings and weekends.
It is important to choose a time that you will be able to make each week
and when you can be assured of privacy and minimum disruption.
Fees:
Sessions are of 40 minutes duration and cost £30.00
A package is available
of four sessions at a cost of £95.00, payable in advance. Longer or shorter sessions can be negotiated.
